Mogami Steel Tech was incorporated in the year 2001, December in Sri Lanka as a Board of Investment (BOI) venture and shortly commenced its production in the city of Bandaragama.
South of the capital Colombo meeting the demands of parent company where the production is exported to Japan.
Being located at the cross roads of the global economies Mogami Steel Tech is capable of Inspecting sites and Designing solutions to projects of any magnitude and once the requirement is identified our production facility will manufacture the material in record time.
We can provide completely engineered systems as well as custom fabrications capabilities that can accommodate any challenge. You supply the power routing and termination details and we do the rest. Mogami’s experienced and knowledgeable engineers will layout and design a custom system that is specific to your requirements. We recognize the value of customer satisfaction, therefor our services go beyond the design and drawings stages. We provide field engineering services prior to and during engineering and construction, as well as during and after project start-up.
The Manufacturing facility is located south of the commerce capital of Colombo at Bandaragama and is equipped with sheet steel fabricating machines such as Shears, CNC Turret Punchers, NC Punchers, Press brakes, Corner notches, Robotic welding equipment which are capable of using TIG and MIG welding methods and is complete with its own painting booth along with the gas powered drying ovens.

By observing the growing demand in japan for galvanized versions of our products, Mogami Steel Tech under the leader ship of Mr Sato have obtained all necessary approvals from the BOI Sri Lanka. In August 2014 a hot dip galvanizing factory was established to cater the growing demand in Japan. Our galvatinzed products are of the highest standard and conform to the JIS H 8641.
